Tools Required
Pentalobe P2 driver, tri-point Y000 and Phillips drivers, suction cup, plastic picks, heat source, tweezers, and a SIM tool. For board and back-glass work: hot-air rework station, laser separator (for rear glass), isopropyl alcohol, and display adhesive.

Opening the iPhone 11
- Remove the two pentalobe screws beside the Lightning port.
- Apply gentle heat to soften the display adhesive.
- Use a suction cup and pick to lift the screen from the bottom edge, opening like a book (the display flex hinges on the right).
- Disconnect the battery shield first, then the display flex connectors.
Display Replacement
Disconnect the battery and the display connectors, then transfer the original Face ID/earpiece flex and front camera assembly to the new screen — this preserves Face ID. Seat the new LCD, replace the adhesive gasket, and test True Tone and touch before sealing.
Battery Replacement
