Tools Required

Opening the Oppo F21 Pro
- Heat the rear cover to soften adhesive.
- Lift the back cover with a suction cup and pick around the edges.
- Disconnect the antenna flex.
- Remove shields and disconnect the battery first.
Display Replacement
The AMOLED + digitizer (with the in-display fingerprint) is a fused assembly; repairs use a display-with-frame service part. Seat with fresh adhesive and verify touch and 90Hz.
Fingerprint Calibration
After any display replacement the in-display optical fingerprint sensor must be re-calibrated. The sensor sits under the AMOLED, so a new panel changes the optical path — we run the Oppo/ColorOS calibration routine to align the sensor to the new screen, then re-enrol fingerprints. Without calibration, unlocks become slow or fail, so this step is included in every F21 Pro screen repair.
Battery Replacement
Disconnect the battery connector and ease out the adhesive pull-tabs (or apply isopropyl alcohol). Fit without bending and re-seal.
Charging Port (USB-C) Repair
The USB-C port is on a lower daughterboard. Clean first; replace the sub-board if 33W charging fails.
Rear Panel Replacement
The textured glass rear panel is adhesive-mounted — heated, lifted and re-adhered.
Water Damage
Power off, don’t charge, act fast. Open, disconnect the battery, ultrasonically clean the board.
