Opening the Oppo Find X8 Pro

Display Replacement
The curved AMOLED + digitizer (with the in-display fingerprint) is a fused, frame-bonded assembly; most repairs use a display-with-frame service part. Seat with fresh adhesive and verify touch and 120Hz.
Fingerprint Calibration
After any display replacement the in-display optical fingerprint sensor must be re-calibrated. The sensor sits under the AMOLED, so a new panel changes the optical path — we run the Oppo/ColorOS calibration routine to align the sensor to the new screen, then re-enrol fingerprints.
