The Vivo T1 5G (models V2141 / V2157) launched in February 2022 as Vivo’s first T-series phone in India, powered by the Snapdragon 695 5G with a 6.58-inch FHD+ IPS LCD, a 50MP main camera, a 5000mAh battery and a side-mounted fingerprint.

Tools Required

Opening the Vivo T1 5G
- Heat the rear cover to soften adhesive.
- Lift the back cover with a suction cup and pick around the edges.
- Disconnect the antenna flex.
- Remove shields and disconnect the battery first.
Display Replacement
The LCD + digitizer is supplied as a glass-with-frame assembly. Seat with fresh adhesive and verify touch. There is no in-display fingerprint to align.
Side Fingerprint / Power Button
The fingerprint sensor is integrated into the power button on the frame. If replaced, reconnect the button flex and re-enrol the fingerprint — no optical calibration is required.
Battery Replacement
Disconnect the battery connector and ease out the adhesive pull-tabs (or apply isopropyl alcohol). Fit without bending and re-seal.
Charging Port (USB-C) Repair
The USB-C port is on a lower daughterboard. Clean first; replace the sub-board if charging fails.
Rear Panel Replacement
The plastic rear panel is adhesive-mounted — heated, lifted and re-adhered.
Water Damage
Power off, don’t charge, act fast. Open, disconnect the battery, ultrasonically clean the board.
