Tools Required
Phillips screwdrivers, plastic picks and opening tools, suction cup, controlled heat, tweezers, SIM tool. Workshop: hot-air station, isopropyl alcohol, display/back-cover adhesive.
Safety First

Opening the Vivo Y100
- Heat the rear cover to soften adhesive.
- Lift the back cover with a suction cup and pick around the edges.
- Disconnect the NFC/antenna flex.
- Remove shields and disconnect the battery first.
Display Replacement
The AMOLED + digitizer (with the in-display fingerprint) is a fused assembly; repairs use a display-with-frame service part. Seat with fresh adhesive and verify touch and 90Hz.
Fingerprint Calibration
After any display replacement the in-display optical fingerprint sensor must be re-calibrated. We run the Vivo calibration routine to align the sensor to the new panel, then re-enrol fingerprints. Skipping calibration causes slow or failed unlocks, so it is included in every Y100 screen repair.
Battery Replacement
Disconnect the battery connector and ease out the adhesive pull-tabs (or apply isopropyl alcohol). Fit the replacement without bending and re-seal.

The USB-C port is on a lower daughterboard. Clean first; replace the sub-board if 44W charging fails.
Rear Panel Replacement
The rear panel is adhesive-mounted — heated, lifted and re-adhered.
