Opening the Xiaomi 15
- Heat the rear cover to soften adhesive.
- Lift the back cover with a suction cup and pick around the edges.
- Disconnect the wireless-charging coil and antenna flex.
- Remove shields and disconnect the battery first.
Display Replacement
The AMOLED + digitizer (with the ultrasonic fingerprint) is a fused, frame-bonded assembly; most repairs use a display-with-frame service part. Seat with fresh adhesive and verify touch and 120Hz.
Fingerprint Calibration
After any display replacement the ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor must be re-paired and calibrated. The ultrasonic module reads through the panel acoustically, so a new screen must be matched to the sensor — we run the Xiaomi calibration routine, then re-enrol fingerprints.
